We rolled into Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta knowing one thing for sure—weather was going to throw a wrench into the weekend. But if there’s one thing Harley-Davidson riders don’t shy away from, it’s a little adversity. With the Mission® King of the Baggers and Roland Sands Design Super Hooligan National Championship getting turned up for round two, H-D riders had something to prove after our dominant showing at Daytona. Rain or shine, we were ready to throw down.

The Super Hooligan series didn’t disappoint. Jake Lewis (#85) of Saddlemen Race Development came in hot and walked out with a double victory, making it three straight wins after Daytona’s Race 2. In Saturday’s Race 1, he battled with reigning champ and teammate Cory West in a tight battle to the finish. On Sunday, Jake turned up the heat and left the field behind, leading by seconds while Cody Wyman on his KWR Harley-Davidson and Jake’s teammate—and Cody’s brother—Travis Wyman locked down second and third, respectively.

Saturday afternoon brought classic Georgia spring chaos—rain delays, track delays, and finally, a wet race for the Mission® King of the Baggers grid. But Harley-Davidson riders are no strangers to racing in the rough. Kyle Wyman (#33) went head-to-head with Loris Baz in a soaked Race 1 showdown, pushing his Road Glide to the edge and landing a solid second-place finish. On Sunday, with the sun back out, Wyman came back swinging—taking the win and stretching his points lead even further. Bradley Smith (#38) fought his way into third, while teammate James Rispoli (#43) kept the pressure on with a strong fourth-place finish.

With sunshine, screaming V-Twins, and a sea of black-and-orange in the stands, Sunday was everything we live for. Next stop: Harley-Davidson’s home turf—Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. We'll see you there, May 30 through June 1.
